We have implemented the Senior Care Package Program for dogs and cats because we realize that the needs of older pets are fundamentally different from those of young pets. In contrast with geriatric medicine, which historically addressed the needs of older pets on a case-by-case basis and is focused on disease treatment, senior care has a preventative and therapeutic focus.

It is important to start preventative services and to test young senior pets by age 7 to:

1. Establish baseline values as the pets are entering their senior years.

2. Modify risk factors (diet, gum/dental problems, sedentary lifestyle) to help prevent disease.

3. Diagnose diseases before the pet is visibly ill or suffering.

Puppy and Kitten Care Package Plans
We have implemented the Puppy and Kitten Package Plans because we know how important it is for youngsters to get a healthy start in life. The plans include examinations, all core vaccinations, testing for intestinal parasites, parasite preventative treatment and a behavior and training consultation at a generous 15% discount.
